The coronavirus pandemic has changed everything—both the working style of businesses and the mental state of people. This is a problem that affects almost everyone. The real estate industry has shifted to remote work for the most part. Priorities and types of negotiations have changed. Attitudes and approaches to the consequences of the pandemic have also changed. The need to use technology has increased. I will not talk about the importance of the role of agents in the real estate field; it is already clear. But the fact is that adapting to new conditions is very important. This determines how successfully the agent will be able to operate in a different mode, and how many sales she will have.Being productive real estate agent at such times is what determines success.
However, in the face of so many changes, it is very difficult to maintain positive energy, enthusiasm and productivity. Today I will talk about how to be more productive in today’s pandemic.
Adapt to the Environment
It is very important to adapt to the environment and conditions in which you are. Of course, it is very difficult to give up the old work style all at once. However, if you want your career not to stall, you need to set foot in new working conditions. If you want to be a more productive real estate agent, you need to master new important work strategies that will help you in your client relationships. Concentrate on new strategies and environments. If you need to master telephone conversations and virtual communication, do it now.
Do Not Drop Your Quality
It is very important that the new work style does not scare or relax you. Working remotely is partly much more difficult because communicating with a client over the phone or otherwise is not as easy as via face-to-face relationships. Of course, for some agents and clients, virtual showings will be seen as more convenient. However, this does not mean that everything is simpler than before. When things change a lot, it is difficult to maintain stability and become more diligent and productive than you used to be. However, there is no other way. We cannot relax.
Concentrate on Your Strengths
While everything is still sorting out, in order to maintain productivity, you need to concentrate on your strengths. If you are well versed in technology, or if social media activities are close to you, this is a great chance to expose yourself. And if you are less able to communicate remotely with the client and establish yourself in the online space, be sure to work on it. Imagine that this period gives you a perfectly limited opportunity to use your strengths for leadership and your weaknesses to motivate you to learn something new, be productive and succeed.
